Asher Tipis' handmade tentage is based on designs authentic to the Native American tribe, the Sioux.

We use contemporary 14 oz canvas (water and rot resistant) which is available in a range of colours (white is standard). Poles are made from selected pine/spruce 'thinnings' generated as part of responsible woodland management programmes. Our tipis are provided with wooden pegs (made to an MOD specification), lacing pins and natural fibre rope. We sew with manually powered traditional machines and hand-finish all lacing pin holes.

We can of course make a tipi in a size to suit your needs, with choice of colour finishes. These figures are only our guide (small=14'approx. diameter, medium=17'approx. diameter, large=21'approx. diameter) for accomodating adults. Delivery and support with first 'erection' of your tipi can be provided for reasonable rates - ask !
